All the resources you would need are found here for having church inside your home.  Our focus is worshipping God whether it be with family or those you are in contact with already. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Being in community is important to the mental and spiritual growth of each person. Here you will find places in which you may connect with others in this church community through study or fellowship. Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

A firm foundation rooted in God is important to us here at First Washington.  This is a resource for children who may grow their relationship with God. Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Youth grow great relationships when they know each other, rely on the word of God, and grow together. Some of your best friends in your life will come from your youth group. This is a resource page for growing with God in your teenage years.

1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Through music and the arts God is glorified. Let this be an encouraging resource for song and lending your given talent to the world for the glory of God.

Psalm 150:1-6 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

We are partnering on a mission with God.  Whether it be local or far away, God is giving us opportunity to be in mission with HIM. Here you will find the ways in which you may receive help, or help someone else.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

We have a community garden in which we plant, water, grow, harvest, and give as a way of showing God's love to us.  If you would like to help or find out more information about the garden, you have come to the right place. 1 Corinthians 3:6-8 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

You will have the resource page to everything scouts are about and creating an atmosphere of learning and adapting to what life sends your way.

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

  • GIVE

Your giving to the church and its missions can be done right here. You can set up one time or recurring gifts and designate the ministry where it will go.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.

Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

We support a few agencies in the Washington area and we pray you have been blessed this year to purchase 1 or 2 items from the list by clicking on this icon, purchasing the item(s) and dropping off at the church lobby before December 13.  If you would like to wrap the item, please feel free to do so but please tell us what it is so we may get the item to the correct place.  Thank you for your generosity.

Deuteronomy 15:7-9 When you happen on someone who’s in trouble or needs help among your people with whom you live in this land that God, your God, is giving you, don’t look the other way pretending you don’t see him. Don’t keep a tight grip on your purse. No. Look at him, open your purse, lend whatever and as much as he needs.

Christ Centric Living involves sacrifice, service, and putting the needs and preferences of others before our own. Being a "Christian" does not denote a life of privilege, but instead, one of service through loving God and loving others. Authenticity is evident through transformed lives that mirror the teachings of Jesus Christ. Serving others, studying scripture, speaking our stories of faith, and sharing our resources is a life-long path of developing our relationship with God. Spiritual discipline is all we can do in order to allow God to do all that we cannot.
